Notes
a. Orientation of building: Stage to be placed on side of street. b. Entry to auditorium to face the tennis courts. c. Storage rooms on the existing building to be placed on shared wall with new auditorium to serve as noise buffer between the band room and the auditorium. d. Choir Room to have a connection to the Band Rooms. A door will be added to the practice room. e. Large Band room will be used as green room. Choir and Small Band rooms as changing rooms. f. If structurally feasible, one of the storage rooms to have a door directly to the Auditorium space. g. Stage to be 42” high. This is preferred both for performances and storage capabilities. h. Under the existing stage there are currently eight racks of chairs and one with tables. i. Replace sink at Choir Room for a larger utility sink. j. Dedicated storage rooms will be assigned by later. Drawings to show all spaces simply as “Storage”. One of these will need to be spacious enough to store the new raisers. There are currently +500 SF of storage dedicated to Drama. Sound System in a cart will also be storage in one of the new rooms. k. Access to Band rooms should no be through a common hallway. These should be directly to the
outside and spaced away. l. Door to Auditorium to be 4’ wide minimum. m. Music teacher to send inventory of Wegner instruments’ storage that will be reused in the new band rooms.
