NEW MINUTES
This meeting was held to discuss storage needs.
1.1 Due to the fact that a number of 6th grade classrooms will be relocated to
create a consolidated 6th grade area on campus there are additional campus
department storage needs.
1. 10 to 12 computer carts will most likely be needed in the future
therefore it was recommended that an area within the existing staff
lounge be created to house 10 to 12 carts, lockable and alarmed.
The remaining space will remain as the staff lounge.
2. The new classroom building will need two storage rooms to house 2
departments.
3. At the end of building 200 next to room 260 a new storage room
would be constructed on the outside of approximately 350 sf to house
3 departments.
4. By expanding room 72 within the existing building footprint the art
room 70 would lose its current storage room. Therefore, it was
recommended that a new storage room or storage cabinets be added
within the art room 70.
5. In addition, it was recommended that exterior doors be added to the
storage rooms of 230 and 330 and the interior access to these
storage rooms be removed.
6. And as discussed at the last Advisory Committee meeting room 730
would receive testing room(s) and a storage room.
