New classroom wing. 2. Convert room 620 to a science room and upgrade room 630 to a science room. 3. Consolidate 6th grade classrooms within a closer area on campus. 4. Drainage upgrade throughout campus to include: a. Area between 300 and 400 wings. b. AC paving in front of tennis courts. c. End of 200,300,400 near 700 wing. d. Breezeway in 500 wing. e. Back door to VP’s office. f. Decomposed granite areas. 5. Provide additional storage for departments. 6. Modify room 730 to include (2) ELL testing rooms and (1) storage room. Space to be used for flex classrooms and for staff gathering. 7. Enlarge room 72 from 815sf to 1,000sf minimum. 8. Gymnasium upgrades. a. Replace all windows b. Expand locker count to accommodate growth c. Combine rooms 901 and 903 9. Hot and cold water in ALL classrooms. . Window coverings / curtains. 6.4 Change the “flex” name on the new classroom building to “classroom (TBD)”. 6.5 The committee identified a few areas where there are thermal hot spots on campus that should be addressed. 1. Wing 600. 2. Gerry and Sharon’s offices. 6.6 After the advisory meeting we walked the gymnasium facility to identify possible project needs. The following include the 3 items the committee identified in their list. 1. Replace all windows and louvers in the gymnasium and rooms 901,903, 936 and 937 with operable windows. 2. Expand locker count in the boys and girls locker rooms to accommodate growth. Girls – 82 and boys – 44 to bring the total per space to 550 or 1100 total. 3. Combine rooms 901 and 903 into one large room with a storage room and update the flooring. 4. Replace the heaters in the gymnasium, locker rooms, wrestling and dance rooms. 5. New lights in the gymnasium. 6. Install privacy wall in the boy’s locker room near the exit to the playfields.
