This meeting was the first Advisory Committee meeting and (2) teachers attended. We
discussed the following.
1.1 Kitchen / Staff Area behind the cafeteria:
1. The existing functions of this area would remain but redesigned to be more efficient
and to account for ADA requirements, electrical needs, IT upgrades, etc…
2. Increase storage.
3. The kitchen currently is a warming kitchen but some food prep occurs.
4. It was also discussed that maybe a teacher office can be incorporated into this area.
This space would have (2) desks but space for (4) adults at any time.
1.2 Admin / Library Building:
1. Review previous notes for extent of offices and other functions and add the following
– large conference room and 6-8th grade counselors.
1.3 Renovation of the following spaces was discussed.
1. Science storage rooms between G4 and G8 and J4 and J7
2. Office J1 needs lighting, power, IT, etc…
