The following new items were discussed:

2.1 Scope/ Program fyi Proposed scope of work for bond includes 4 new classrooms and 1 flex room.
fyi Library is small but sufficient for 370 enrollment. Program for library includes
computer area, instruction area, and office.
fyi Campus is too small to add another strand. MP room is too small for
increased capacity and students would loose play area.
fyi Fourth and Fifth grades are team taught. These classrooms should be
located near each other. Grades are currently separated on campus.
fyi Kindergartens currently share restrooms. The preference is for individual
kindergarten restrooms.
fyi There is one lunch per campus. Kindergarten has separate lunch.
fyi Bus traffic is a problem along Rourke. Speed bumps are desired along Louis.
There is not enough parking on the campus.
fyi 130 children commute by bike. There is not enough bike parking. There is a
grant to increase bike parking.
fyi Only west side classrooms have exterior gardens. There is a possibility to
add exterior doors and gardens to classrooms along Louis.
fyi Field is used by soccer and baseball leagues after school hours. There is
limited use of the library after hours.
fyi Water pipes are rusting.
fyi There is a desire to locate the flex room near the MP room.
fyi 3 staff supervise the play area. Dividing the play area is not desired.
2.2 Site Layout fyi Possible locations for new classrooms included at west side near
administration, at location of existing portables, or adding an extension to
kindergarten areas.
fyi Possible scheme for new classrooms included grouping 4th and 5th grade
classrooms together and adding a flex room to make a corner along the south
east corner, while moving the day care portables to the west.
fyi Trees along the edge of the black top were a possibility.
